What is SpreadPic?
SpreadPic extracts images embedded inside spreadsheet files and renames them using keywords from your spreadsheet. All processing happens entirely within your local browser — nothing is uploaded to any server.
How do I extract images?
Upload your spreadsheet file, select the column containing your naming keywords, and click Extract. You will receive a ZIP archive with all your images correctly renamed.
Which formats are supported?
We support .xlsx, .xlsm, .xltx, .xltm, and .xls.
How do I work with Apple Numbers files?
SpreadPic cannot directly open .numbers files. Please follow these steps on your Mac:
  1. Open your document in Apple Numbers.
  2. Go to the top menu bar: File → Export To → Excel.
  3. Choose Excel (.xlsx) as the output format and save the exported file to your Mac.
  4. Upload this newly-exported .xlsx file to SpreadPic to extract your images.
Is my data safe?
Yes. All files are processed locally on your own device. No data is ever uploaded to our servers. Please review our Privacy Policy for more details.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no hard-coded platform limit. Performance depends on your device's available memory. Older computers with less than 4 GB RAM may struggle with very large spreadsheets. Modern devices with ample memory can handle large files with no issues.
How many extractions can I do?
Free users may process one spreadsheet file per day. Premium subscribers enjoy unlimited daily extractions with no cap.
Do I need to install any software?
No! SpreadPic is a web-based tool that runs in any modern browser. No downloads or installations are required.
How does renaming work?
SpreadPic reads text values from spreadsheet cells to generate image filenames. You can manually select which column to use as your naming source, or let the tool auto-detect the best column.
How does the referral program work?
Premium subscribers only. After subscribing, copy your unique referral link from your Dashboard. When a friend signs up through your link, both of you receive 30 days of free Premium access, and every new signup also gets 10 days free on top. There is no cap on the number of referrals you can make.
Do you offer refunds?
